We have taken a major leap as a company. As Suomen Tilaajavastuu, we were known as the conqueror of red tape, a preventor of the black economy, and a service provider in the construction sector. Our dream is to become even more than that, and, for that reason, we are now Vastuu Group. At the same time, it is extremely important for us that the data and services we provide can be trusted.
We want to be known as an ecosystem operator of the built-up environment that has responsibility at heart. Our great dream is to create better living conditions for a billion people by 2025. This we intend to achieve through reliable data and in cooperation with others, as our dream can be made true by creating smart and sustainable solutions together. This cannot be done alone.
Our dream is courageous, but we at Vastuu Group are used to crazy and high-flying dreams.
How to create better living conditions? The answer is cooperation. Our role is to act as a facilitator, a remover of obstacles, and a visionary. Our toolbox includes:

Our history is full of crazy ideas and success stories that no one else believed in at the beginning. In about ten years, we have grown from a small start-up into an internationalising and rapidly growing company that employs nearly 100 people, and have also made reliability the core of our operations. Even though we are not perfect, we make decisions in our company responsibility first regardless of whether the decision concerns marketing materials or a more major business matter.
As a company, we are learning the best ways of self-administration and have tried to establish the best form to act as a team. However, this is all based on being humane and showing respect to others, as this enables us to build a work community and a company where people can, dare, and want to make courageous decisions themselves – and also to assume responsibility for them.
Despite the changes, the core of our company has remained the same. Our values – courage, respect, and humaneness – are repeated in the strategic choices of our company and the everyday life of our work community. Whilst taking courageous leaps as a company, we support our colleagues in challenging work situations and share the ups and downs of our private lives with each other as a one big family. All of this creates trust, which also has many levels in our company.
