New Tarkastaja API endpoint for checking permissions

We are introducing a new endpoint as part of Tarkastaja API v1.1, providing API users with an improved way to check organization-specific permissions

New endpoint: Organization Permission Information

• POST /tarkastaja/v1.1/organization_permission_information

The new endpoint enables you to:

• Check the permission status of organizations by submitting a list of Business IDs
  

• Receive a response for each Business ID indicating whether the required permission is found or not 

This endpoint is designed to make it easier to check permissions for multiple organizations with a single API request.  

What is changing? 

The following endpoint has been marked as Deprecated with the release of the new endpoint:

• Employee Information Accesses - GET /tarkastaja/v1.1/employee_information_accesses 

The deprecated endpoint will continue to function normally until the end of the transition period, but we recommend migrating to the new Organization Permission Information endpoint as soon as possible. 

Timeline 

• The deprecated endpoint will remain fully operational until June 30, 2026, after which it will be removed from service.

Is any action required? 

If you are currently using the existing endpoint in production or in a test environment, we recommend that you:

• Migrate to the new Organization Permission Information endpoint
• Test the change well in advance of June 30, 2026
