Valtti Emergency First Aid Online Course

Site safety is built on preparation, competence and the ability to act when the unexpected happens. Accidents and medical emergencies cannot always be prevented, but with the right skills, you can ensure that people know how to respond quickly and appropriately.

Valtti Emergency First Aid is a comprehensive online course that provides the skills needed to recognise life-threatening situations, respond appropriately in emergencies and provide first aid until professional help arrives. The course is suitable for people working on sites as well as anyone who needs first aid skills as part of their work.

The course includes plenty of practical examples, instructions and exercises to reinforce learning. Course completion data is recorded in the Valtti service, making employees’ first aid competence easy for employers and sites to verify alongside other employee and qualification information.

The course includes a final test to ensure that participants have understood the material. The training has been developed by a healthcare professional.

Part of the Valtti service

Completing training is only one part of the bigger picture. It is equally important that information about completed training can be easily accessed when needed.

The Valtti service brings together the employee information, qualifications, training records and Valtti cards required on sites. When first aid training records are stored in the same system as other employee information, employers can more easily monitor their employees’ competencies, while sites can ensure that the required information is up to date.

Having all the information needed on site available in one place reduces manual work and supports effective safety management.
