Changes to the Special Terms and Conditions of Valtti Services
Vastuu Group's special terms and conditions for the Valtti services will change as a result of changes to Valtti services that improve the usability of the service.
The following key changes have been made to the special terms and conditions for the Employee Management service:

The former section 3.5 has been removed and Vastuu Group will no longer be responsible for access requests of data subjects for their own data on behalf of customers, but will provide the customer with the tools to compile the data from the customer's own register through the service interface;

Sections 4.1 and 4.3 are amended so that the customer no longer needs to separately confirm the employment relationship in the Employee Management service if the person has a valid Valtti Card; and

Section 4.4 is amended in line with the Tax Administration's policy that the person's details must be confirmed at least every 36 months in the Employee Management service, excluding situations where the person has a valid Valtti Card; in addition, the last sentence has been deleted to simplify the terms and conditions.
The following key changes have been made to t the special terms and conditions of the Valtti+ service:

The former section 3.4 has been removed and Vastuu Group will no longer be responsible for access requests of data subjects for their own data on behalf of customers, but will provide the customer with the tools to compile the data from the customer's own register through the service interface;
The following key changes have been made to t the special terms and conditions for the Valtti Card service:

The Valtti Card service will allow for the possibility to order a Valtti Card as a continuous subscription, whereby a Valtti Card will be sent to the holder automatically when the previous one expires; corresponding changes have been made to the special terms and conditions in sections 3.1, 7.1, 7.2 and 7.6;

For Valtti Card holders, in line with the Tax Administration's policy, it will no longer be necessary to confirm the person's details separately in the Employee Management service, but it will be sufficient to order a Valtti Card with the correct details if the person has an uninterrupted Valtti Card subscription in force; a corresponding amendment has been made to section 7.4 of the special terms and conditions;

Sections 3.2, 3.4, 5.1, 5.3 and 7.3 have been clarified and the former section 5.2 has been deleted in its entirety in order to simplify the terms and conditions; and

Section 4.1 has been amended in line with the available delivery options.
The amended terms and conditions have been published and can be found here. The amended special terms and conditions for the Valtti services will apply from 1 November 2025.
Customers using our other services will not be affected by the change.
